The Commercial division of Stephen Charles Landscape and Contract Gardeners provide Gritting and Snow Clearance services to:

• Shopping Centers
• Industrial Estates
• Offices
• Schools/Colleges/Universities whether private or public
• Lorry Parks
• Paths and Steps

There is an initial charge for setting up the contract and providing the standby service further charges are made for each application.



Once the contract is set up there will be no need to contact us when it snows. We will automatically attend your premises and invoice you the agreed price, which must be paid within 28 days. If you would like a text message to inform you that this has been done, we will send one at the start of the working day where we have attended between the hours of ten pm and eight am or if before ten pm, a text message will be sent immediately. 

Where however, you have contacted us for gritting services for cold weather we will attend as per our contract. Therefore if the contract states you wish us to use our initiative as to when to attend we will only do so where we feel it would be unsafe not to do so. You may request that we grit at any time. If you would like us to contact you so that you may decide whether we should grit, we will happily do this. Please note that where we are unable to get hold of you the risk lays with you. There may be instances when we feel it is unsafe not to grit. However, if you require your specific approval, we are still unable to grit until we have talked with you.
